PARTICIPACTION - LOGO REFRESH
Background: Participaction was gearing up to celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday by renewing its pledge to keep Canada’s youth active. We felt that they should have a look to match their new initiatives.
Challenge: To update and rebrand a very well known and respected icon of Canadian culture while making sure that we preserve the essence. Modernizing and refining the brand to make it relevant again was also no small feat.
Solution: After going through many concepts and renditions we arrived at the final version, featuring a elegant italicized bold Helvetica. It provided a sturdy base in which to place the redesigned iconic pin-wheel Participaction is known for.
